How might case studies be used in science courses? The case study method provides in-depth interaction with a specific topic or concept, and helps students develop important skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, and teamwork. This workshop provides a basic understanding of this method, with specific consideration of its enhancement of teaching and learning in the sciences. Lunch available. Open to faculty, postdocs, and doctoral students at Columbia University.
