Abstract: Quantum coherence is proclaimed to facilitate efficient light-harvesting in nature, and as such offers the prospect of safeguarding our future energy supply through biomimetic principles. However, it remains elusive how quantum phase can survive under the harsh conditions found in natural molecular complexes. In this briefing, I will declassify intelligence resulting from four years of field research, that help to understand coherent phenomena in nature, and how to replicate these in synthetic materials.
